Where your data is stored and how it's secured

Your Intellova data is stored in a dedicated database hosted on AWS in Australia, with encryption, access controls, and backups managed for you.

Where your data is stored

When Intellova connects your business tools — your CRM, accounting, rostering, support and others — it brings that information together into a dedicated database that belongs to your business. Your data isn't mixed in with other customers' information; each business has its own separate database.

That database is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), in data centres located in Australia. This means your business data stays onshore and doesn't leave the country as part of normal operation. When you view reports and dashboards, these run in Amazon Quick Suite, which reads from your database to display your analytics.

How your data is kept secure

Your data is protected in two important ways. First, it is encrypted in transit (while moving between your connected tools and Intellova) and encrypted at rest (while stored in your database). This means the information is scrambled and unreadable to anyone without authorised access.

Second, access is tightly controlled. Only your authorised users can see your dashboards and reports, and only Intellova's managed setup process connects to your source tools on your behalf — you don't need to handle credentials or technical configuration yourself. AWS's underlying infrastructure also provides physical and network security for the data centres where your database lives.

Backups and what happens if something fails

Your database is backed up regularly as part of Intellova's managed service, so your data can be restored if anything goes wrong. You don't need to set up or run backups yourself.

If a data sync ever fails to save correctly — for example, if one of your connected tools is temporarily unavailable — Intellova will still send you an email so you're aware of the issue rather than being left to discover it later. This keeps you informed if any data didn't come through as expected.

Questions or specific requirements

If you have particular requirements — for example, around data residency, who can access your account, or removing data — or if you receive a failed-save email and aren't sure what to do, contact the Intellova support team. We can explain exactly how your setup is configured and help with any changes.

Because Intellova handles connection and hosting for you, most security and storage details are managed behind the scenes. You generally don't need to take any action, but our team is happy to walk you through specifics if you or your IT provider need them.
