How to connect a tool (CRM, accounting, rostering)
Connecting a tool like your CRM, accounting or rostering software to Intellova is a managed process where our team does the technical setup for you.
How connecting a tool works
Connecting a new tool to Intellova is a managed setup — you don't have to configure anything technical yourself. To get started, let your Intellova contact know which tool you'd like to connect (for example your CRM, accounting package or rostering system). You can do this by replying to your onboarding email or contacting support.
From there, our team handles the connection for you. We'll confirm a few details with you, securely set up access to the tool, and begin pulling your data into Intellova. Once it's running, your information from that tool flows into your Intellova database automatically, so you don't need to export or upload anything by hand.
What we'll need from you
To connect a tool, we usually need two things. First, confirmation of which account or organisation the data should come from — for example, which accounting file or which CRM workspace. Second, authorisation to access it, which often means an administrator at your business approving the connection or providing access through the tool's own secure login.
We'll guide you through each step and only ask for what's necessary. If a tool can't be connected directly, we'll let you know and discuss the best alternative. The key thing to remember is that the heavy lifting is on our side — your job is mainly to point us at the right account and approve access.
Where your data goes once connected
Once a tool is connected, its data is brought into your own dedicated database on AWS, hosted in Australia. Each tool's information is combined with your other connected sources, so you get a single, unified view of your business rather than separate logins for every system.
You'll then be able to explore and report on that data through your dashboards in Amazon Quick Suite. If you'd like a new report or chart based on a freshly connected tool, just ask — we can help build dashboards that bring the right information together.
If a connection has trouble
Connections are monitored on our side, so you don't need to watch them constantly. If a regular data update can't be saved — for example, because a tool changed a password or revoked access — an email alert is sent automatically so the issue can be picked up and fixed quickly.
If you notice data looks out of date or a tool seems to have stopped updating, contact Intellova support and we'll investigate. In most cases the fix simply involves re-authorising access to the tool, which we'll walk you through.
