Data residency and who can see what
Your business data is stored in a dedicated database hosted on AWS in Australia, and you control who in your team can see it.
Where your data is stored
When Intellova connects your tools (such as your CRM, accounting, rostering and support systems), all of that information flows into a dedicated database that belongs to your business. This database is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Australia, so your data stays onshore and isn't mixed in with other customers' data.
Your analytics and dashboards are built in Amazon Quick Suite, which reads from that same Australian database. In practice this means everything you see in Intellova — the raw connected data and the reports built on top of it — is processed and stored within Australia.
You don't need to set any of this up yourself. Intellova manages the connections and the database for you, so the data residency is handled as part of your account rather than something you configure.
Who can see what
Access to your data is limited to the people you've authorised in your business, plus the Intellova team who manage your account and support you. Within your team, what each person sees depends on the access they've been given, so not everyone has to see everything.
If you need to add or remove a team member, or change what someone can access (for example, giving a manager access to certain dashboards but not others), the simplest path is to contact Intellova support and tell us what you need. We'll make the change for you and confirm once it's done.
We recommend reviewing your team's access whenever someone joins, changes role, or leaves. If a person no longer needs access, let us know promptly so we can remove them.
What happens if a sync fails
Intellova keeps your connected sources up to date in the background. If something goes wrong — for example, one of your tools changes a password or a connection drops and a save fails — the system still sends an email notification so the right people are alerted rather than the problem going unnoticed.
If you receive one of these emails, the usual cause is a connection that needs re-authorising at the source. You don't need to dig into the database yourself: reply to the notification or contact Intellova support, and we'll help you get the connection working again so your data and dashboards stay current.
