Dicta

Voice to text at your cursor

Your voice, already at the cursor

Say it.
It's written.

Dicta adds a small push-to-talk dock to the pages you already use. Focus a field, speak naturally, and place the finished words exactly where your cursor is waiting.

One quiet workflow

From thought to text without breaking your flow.

01

Place your cursor

Focus the text field where the words should go. Dicta remembers that exact destination.

02

Hold and speak

Press the dock microphone or hold Right Option. A live signal makes recording unmistakable.

03

Keep moving

Dicta turns speech into text and inserts it at the active cursor when the recording ends.

Fast should still feel deliberate.

Dicta is built as a small instrument, not another workspace. It listens only when asked and keeps its controls close to the words.

01

A three-button dock stays close to your work; history and settings live in Chrome's native side panel.

02

No always-on listening. Audio starts only when you deliberately record.

03

Every recording and transcript is encrypted in AWS Sydney and stays available until you delete it.

04

No page crawling. Dicta writes the completed transcript only to the field you selected.

Private Chrome beta

Less typing. Same voice.

Dicta is currently available to a small group of approved testers while we validate sign-in, transcription quality and cursor placement across real websites.
